Financial Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst at our corporate headquarters located in Berwick, PA to assist with the forecasting of revenues and expenditures and work with Financial Planning & Accounting staff to develop a 5-year business plan.

For this role, you should hold a degree in Finance or Accounting followed by relevant work experience. Some knowledge of forecasting models and cost accounting processes are required for an individual to be successful in this position.

Ultimately, you will support the needs of the financial sector, ensuring our financial planning is healthy, profitable and reliable and aligns with business objectives.

  • Assist with the development of financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
  • Perform Balance Sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
  • Assist with the preparation of cost projections for capital improvements
  • Provide analysis of current financial status
  • Conduct research of historical financial data
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance.
  • Provide assistance with research and analysis for long-term financial planning
  • Compare anticipated and actual result for assigned business lines.
  • Promote established financial policies
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions


  • 1 year verifiable work experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with financial and statistical software (Sage 300 knowledge a plus)
  • Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
  • Up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
  • Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Relevant certification or advanced degree (e.g. CMA/CPA/MBA) is a plus
